Figure out what makes you different

What is the thing that makes you different from others? What’s unique in you? Some directors like people who can do handstands, play basketballs, do impressions etc. Hence, hone your these skills as well along with acting because this increases the chances of getting role especially in commercial.

Get an agent

If you just entered the industry then you actually need one. It is always good to have an agent. If you do not have many professional credits, you will possibly start with a small agency. You should sign with an agent and try with them for a few months. And if you feel that they are not able to help with your career choices then look for another agent.
